I did Oxford Street on Thursday (I went to see Evita on Thursday evening, and went in early so I could watch the balcony scene from the street at the matinee). I had a scone in the cafe in John Lewis, which was nice, but I was mostly reminded of why I rarely go anywhere near Oxford Street.
