It is already too late to go "Back to the way things were". Democrats need to find a small handful of Republicans who are still loyal to the Constitution, to America, and to Americans. You must work to fix the media narrative; to expose MAGA as foreign occupiers, and to restore Democracy to the US.
If you can't build a consensus across the aisle, to remind conservative moderates why America has been a world leader for a hundred years, then no amount of grassroots politics will save us. We will be mown down in the streets and camps; America's light will be extinguished by cruelty and stupidity.
