i have been in such a terrible mood today i shouldn't have opened tumblr but alas i did it by habit and was subjected to the daily dose of queer infighting started by extremely bigoted queer ppl who are very racist gonna cut down tumblr time to 1 day a week i think i can't take it anymore
I feel you. I've been trying to cut back too (tryn' to keep it to when I want to make a post since it's not that often), esp because certain parts of the worst of tumblr feel amplified and harder to avoid. Think in part because of whose left after all the BS tumblr has gone through. It's a shame.
Most of my tumblr friends/mutuals I'm fond of honestly mostly or only hang out on Discord these days (a small few have bsky or Pillowfort though and we usually manage to find each other again).

yeah..... it's sad bc like. i made some good friends on tumblr in the past. i found some blogs that talked about how to avoid racism when writing fiction! (who get bullied constantly btw) and also blogs for queer ppl on how to avoid bigotry against other queers (also get bullied)
and it's just sad that it's going downhill so fast with the discourse that basically only lives on that website. like if y'all actually went outside and met other queer ppl you would not be so hateful
yeah i mean a big reason i stopped using tumblr years ago is i was tired of making friends on there and then having to defend myself and/or my new friends from random bullying because someone decided we were on the wrong side of their pet crusade. it just made me feel so bitter
