I wonder how many parents will be upset that little darling child gets a zero? I mean that big bad teacher actually expecting sweetems to " THINK" and do work? Heavens ..
I don’t know — but every parent that I know here in Hawaii takes their kids educations very seriously. Ironically, I think it’s mostly rich people who don’t give a shit about their kids actually learning anything. The problem is not parents— it’s AI and how it will fit into higher education —
I was a teacher and the parents expected a lot. The kids were often given a pass for poor performance by parents and then teachers were blamed. Homework or additional study looked down on and cheating accepted by parents. One school said nobody got a failing grade! Nobody!
It’s frustrating when parents allow kids to cheat— I want my kids to gain as much knowledge as possible. Tbh though, my 19yo twins do sometimes collaborate on homework— I don’t feel it’s cheating. It’s problem solving and learning. They are both 4.0 lifelong straight A students. I’m proud of them. ✌🏼
Just add some misspellings for ironic accentuation.
All the departments except the English, Classics, and Philosophy department are giddily embracing AI. It's disturbing to say the least.
Absolutely! It’s dumbing down the possibilities!
And they won't get it.
looks ai generated but ok
I tried to have AI make one for the irony but the AI one looked like crap
i am not jealous about y’all since you have to deal with so much ai-slop in school
