I've horrible news, white Americans like, yet, unlike, myself don't want they themselves, nor the country, want to "be better" they want to ensure minorities feel like less at all times. Everything else is negotiable.

Put the crack pipe down. We had the most tolerant society in the history of the world. Until 2008. That's when the Democrat savior Barack Hussein Obama was elected and immediately began enacting racist policies to undo everything we'd achieved. it's been downhill ever since.
