And yet it's *so* brazen at this point that I doubt it helps him much. The true believers turning on him over this scandal aren't merely seeking plausible deniability, even if they might once have accepted it. The meal ticket brigade (Charlie, Benny etc) will comply, but they're no longer in charge.

We will see what those two nutters do. I’m betting they’ll do whatever makes them the most money. As far as their right wing fan base, nothing Trump does will make them stop supporting right wing politicians/policies. Their hate for the left is what their entire personality is base upon.
