Crime really has gone down substantially but the violence that's happening in my city (LA) has gone up substantially this summer with all the raids and abductions by armed masked thugs Nobody says there's no crime. We are saying that it is not a sudden emergency that requires troops in the streets.
Right, there is nothing new acute risk other than deployed weapons of fascism. But I respect people saying that cities still feel dangerous, regardless of the trend. Comparatively, those vibes are not wrong.
