I understand what you're saying, I just don't agree. Those fuckers are definitely in place and enacting their agenda through him; there can be no question. But without him, they're fucked. And they know it.

It's why they're moving so quickly to destroy the government; they know they only have until he dies to pull it off. The goal is to fuck everything up so royally in the time they have that it can't be fixed. And they may have been successful; that remains to be seen.
