A nice thing to note that in that 2021-vintage fact-based source, one thing has changed: it opens by saying fentanyl (or rather opioid) deaths are ever-increasing, and we finally had a drop, right? Thanks to all who helped bend the curve. Harm prevention works, if funded. Not border walls.
I imagine that it was a huge number of people doing a large number of things that resulted in a drop in deaths. Can’t imagine that all those things will still be happening as fed funding is cut and entire agencies designed to reduce harm are assaulted/departments fired. Hands Off indeed

My own governor, who was the first person to ever charge someone with “exposing” police to fentanyl (another lie), even used *this* lie to overturn the will of Ohioans who voted overwhelmingly to legalize cannabis, which he then got the state legislature to seriously kneecap to help out his cronies.
