Why are yields on Treasuries up today if inflation numbers lower than expected ? Thanks in advance…
Markets moved very little at 8:30am when the number came out. Headline softer than expected but the pieces that go into PCE--which the Fed targets--firmer than expected. So more of a wash. My guess is market moves dominated by slightly improved tariff perceptions.
