I think the giveaway is accusing “communists” of desperately trying to defend the guy who swung the Democratic Party to the right in terms of economic policy and did mass social services cuts, at least for me. As satire of what conservatives are saying, it made me giggle.

I, for one, think continuing the war on drugs and signing off on DOMA were brave moments of reasonable centrism that invited more people—ones afraid of queers and POC—into our coalition for justice. But the purity testing left tells me I should hate him 🙁
As a joke in response to this I was trying to think of some policy of Bill Clinton that I could look at in my signature sick and twisted way 😎 as something consistent with Communism and I cannot think of anything.
