I have season tickets for DPAC — it’s a range of dress these days.
I read the dress code online that said just be comfortable. I would usually wear nicer clothes but I lost a lot of weight and nothing fits. I didn't know what the temp would be inside so I was afraid to wear a dress. It was HOT in there.
I have friends who are always cold. It’s so close to everyone that I am never cold.
I always take a sweater there just in case but I don't remember it being that warm before. But it was hot as hell outside too! It was still over 90 degrees when I left the theater.
I did bring a sweater which I accidentally dropped on the floor. Thank goodness a staff member picked it up and let me know!
I wore shorts and a polo to see Les Mis last night. But I showered and shaved before. 😉 I’ve seen people wearing tracksuits and pajama bottoms too.
I remembered you and your wife were going because she loves it but I didn't know which day. I wore jeans and a striped shirt (and also showered for the record!) I felt weird but saw folks in shorts and polos too (They looked fine!) I mean I looked ok just used to wearing fancier clothes. 🤷♀️
I work from home, so I’m in gym shorts in the summer and sweatpants in winter. I put on Levis to go to Canes games but “nice” jeans or shorts and a polo, button down shirt or sweater and shoes instead of sneakers and an Aho or Jarvis jersey to go to DPAC. And Les Mis was awesome.
Interviewing for an on-site job. I don’t even own clothes I fit in anymore. I wore hockey tees and leggings every day
I’m lucky, I still fit in the work clothes I wore pre-pandemic. So when I have to go to the office, I’m good.
I’ve lost about 90 POUNDS since then. I lost 25 from stress after I lost my job in March tho. I haven’t been this size in over 20 years. Wasn’t trying to be this small. Yes I gained some in the pandemic at first too.
Even if 25 was stress, 65 on its own is awesome, congrats!
Thanks! I sure don’t need to be smaller. I think I am not looking well. (Just older!) Suspect it will level off after a bit.
