the queer community is so fucking strong + resilient. I fucking cry over how beautiful we all are-- how unique + carefree (when safe). I think queerness is a vision of a healthier future. and, not everyone is ready for it. to their own loss. we shouldn't have to be so strong + brave-- but we are.
quite literally I wish I could go to every queer person, quiet their insecurities, tell them they deserve to exist- that that should be a no-brainer; that the state of the world is just a side issue that will be solved in due time. bc what can we do besides compartmentalize? like any other trauma?
none of us should have to play this terrible fucking game. we shouldn't have to compartmentalize our own existence. but i do think we are better off learning the rules of the game, for now-- until we can change it, for good.
