It's arguable that Labor don't want to be made to do things, which would explain their evident vitriol towards the Greens which is absent in their language around the LNP.

The Greens win votes to the left of Labor (and from Labor's left) and so while they oppose the LNP, they position themselves relative to Labor. For very obvious reasons, then, Labor don't want to give the Greens the appearance of being effective.
