That's a bummer. Has hunting season shifted with temperatures on the rise? I know nothing about it - very much Elmer Fudd asking Bugs what season it is (answer: "baseball season!"). And I'd guess everyone doesn't follow start dates, hence your decision. Booooo.
Just bow hunting season now, moves into muzzle in September then onto free-for-all at the end of the month. My dogs aren’t very good at respecting hunters in their blinds or camps, so….we still have places in our area where there’s no hunting allowed, but they do love a romp through the woods.
