I think a lot fo people think MAGA is a virus that will be defeated and eventually we’ll be ok. They’re wrong. It’s a cancer that’s been growing and metastasizing in our country for some time now.

My hope is that Midwestern states without a long cultural and political tradition of fascism eventually can be clawed back. I don’t think the Deep South can be, and that there will be war on that front — again — sooner or later.
