President Donald Trump’s administration acknowledged Monday that sending Kilmar Abrego Garcia to his native El Salvador was an “administrative error.” Despite this, the White House argued against bringing him back and says it lacks the power to seek his return from El Salvador’s government.

Sections of the court orders the MAGAs are showing to justify his rendition omits paragraphs that makes it clear he mustn’t be returned to El Salvador. My guess is that he left MS-13 or otherwise went afoul of them. Now he’s surrounded by them. You may be right.
