i had to read this. sounds like the ministry is listening to a jr HR person who thinks this is like playing the piano. idiots.
And/or that they'll just be able to hire someone for the day on Anzac Day. Which would either be the guy they just sacked, or maybe someone from outside AoNZ, which would probably cost a lot more to bring here for however long they need to familiarise themselves with the setup + play.
Plus the nearest other carillon players are in Australia and are probably already booked for ANZAC day.
