You always worry. I feed 4 adult cats and 2 kittens at my outdoor buffet. The temps here today 117 degrees and all I can do is hope they find relief. My 2 indoor cats have no idea how lucky they are.
Oh no, poor MooMoo and the Cats at the Cat Ranch. So many thunderstorms, but I bet you are glad it isn't a tornado or flash flood.π
Aww, Moo Moo. This is Charity when there's thunder! I can relate.

Iβve loved thunderstorms my whole life. The first time I became afraid of a thunderstorm, my mother told me not to be afraid. She said it was just the Angels bowling. I was never afraid again. My cats being from a desert in the west never heard one. Sasha took off so fast to hide. She was a blur.1/2
They knew what water was. Wa had lightening but no thunder or rain. I started making sounds before storms were coming. βBa da boom, boom boom.β Then I call storms Boom,Boom water. It worked. I had left the inside door by theirπͺΎ open on a sunny day. She was still sound asleep in it when π©οΈβοΈ arrived

On a more scientific note, they make thunder shirts for cats. My sheepdog was deathly afraid of storms. She used to come sit on my foot, whimper and pant so much I would pet her and tell her itβs OK. Then I learned that was reinforcing the behavior. π€¦ββοΈ I tried a storm πΏ. It was no help. No 80s T-π½
Poor Moo Moo! I live on a large island off the west coast and we rarely get thunderstorms. I miss them!
Awww poor baby! βοΈπΏπΎπ
I can't view your video atm. Probably my storm. Dex is hiding. He is like Moo Moo! βοΈππΎπ Gotta say, the 75Β° is feeling pretty good. Wanted to watch the news but thanks to the rain, it is all pixilated! I am not gonna miss this antenna! π πΊπ¬
Dad will protect you, Moo π
