Our microwave has a dial and I hate it.

My condolences, but also... I feel like the fact it's still your microwave is on you.

My wife and I did a kitchen reno a few years ago. We had 2 regrets when it was over. The first was the under cab lazy Susan. It works differently than our old one did and it's low key always a pain. The other? A microwave with a dial. I want to beat up the engineer that came up w/ that idea.

(Sometimes you don't know how bad an idea is until you use it daily).

Microwave ramen takes about 3:30 in ours to cook properly. My wife just hits 3 three times. It definitely doesn't mess with my brain when she does this.

Interestingly my microwave has a one minute button instead of a 30 second. I wish it was 30 seconds.

On my microwave, if I put the time in and start it, hitting the start button again will add 30 seconds.

My microwave is a "spin the dial" for more time instead of buttons. Its great.

Press the 2 minute button which starts the microwave. Open the door with 30 seconds left.
