We could solve this by simply making donation an opt-out system, but because we’re Americans, we’d prefer a dystopia where the poor sell a kidney so their spouse can afford six months of chemo.

American Healthcare has always been based on the fear that it is better your friends, your family, your loved ones, and you should suffer and die rather than let the potential of a single dime go to a person you have never met, yet vehemently hate who or what that person is.
