I have always enjoyed your conversations, but was a little disappointed that there was no pushback on some of Harp's claims/innuendo. Ex.- He handwaves away actual DEA data to support his allegation of SF importing Afg. heroin to US (via Zetas). This was, IMO, a huge weakness of his book/thesis

You should hit him up about it. Soldiers in Afghanistan may have been smuggling small amounts of dope but they weren't running the global heroine trade.
