Could a lawyer explain to me, in layman's terms, a nuanced explanation for why Trump's last 4 years of trials/lawsuits/etc always have a great ruling that is then stayed until a higher court can rule against him but stay that until etc etc until his nazi SCOTUS gets the case?

This is Trump's strategy since forever - wait out the other guy - til the other guy goes broke paying for lawyers.

This is a strategy he learned from Roy Cohn. You don't have to be right, or even have a reasonable arguement. You just have to keep filing appeals and briefs until the other guy goes broke.

The legal system, largely a carryover from British Commonlaw, was always corrupted by money, because the rich need it to be. The only time true justice prevails is when there are no monied interests involved.

100%, I am wondering if there is anything more than "rich and powerful people have the time to wait it out by exploiting rules that serve a purpose in limited form" Guessing not :(
