In one way, the speech was remarkable, yes, but missing the root cause analysis: lack of gun control combined with pronounced exhibition of violence in the USA and economic and political interests in maintaining status quo. May God bless the USA wherever it has gone. 🙏 🙏

I have read many books on grief, and have sat with clients who are working through the grieving process. None of them, to the best of my memory, used the words root cause analysis. This is the time for empathy and love, not for decrying a parent who has to learn to live without a beloved child.
How to do it
He is grieving the very recent killing of his little boy. I don’t think we need to expect this or that from his speech.
