😆 yeah, we took pride in our cafeteria especially the officer's mess hall... and would often have the Marine boys to come and grab grub with us daily instead of eating at their own bases.

Not sure if you are aware of this, but most Air Force base cafeterias open up at 11PM, what we call Midnight Chow... for those working 3rd shifts otlr training... yeah, as a young airman I would eat 4 meals daily... lol

Was unaware of that. But it was a small journey to get to the AF base. So it was not a regular thing for us. I suppose that made it feel even more special. But we enjoyed it when we could. And yes, I was also a eating machine back then also. Now, I can still put it away, but know I shouldn't.

I pretty much like everything. It started around 14-15. I even like liver. Haven't convinced my wife to even try it...🤣
