Bluesky visibility mostly depends on users sharing information rather than an algorithm deciding what people should see. Sure, the Discover tab uses an algorithm, but the idea isn't to depend on that as a "For You"-type timeline like Tiktok or X use.

Not in my experience, they don't. And I spent over 5 years on Twitter with a decent following where they did. I think some people don't realize just posting links and not getting eyes on them doesn't mean it's getting buried, it might also just be WHAT you're sharing.
