They didn’t ask for any proof. Except our teachers were there so we gave real names. ICE officers don’t know what libraries are.

But the point of my original post is that if ICE agents board a school bus and kids don't have any kind of ID (other than a library card), how is ICE going to prove a child is here illegally unless s/he confesses? Which could happen, but hopefully they know not to say anything. I
