Boyle/Garland's version of "a ship, a crew, a signal" is my fave deep-space thriller in the last 25 yrs (30?). Sure, a little chaotic with Pinbacker but the final scene delivers imo (just like the payload). Extra points for a great spacesuit.

I remember when this came out. Everybody hated it but me.
I saw this for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Seemed unjustly neglected and WHAT A CAST!
That pacing switch-up in the middle is really clunky, but it's still a great watch!
This was a fantastic show. Absolutely enjoyed it and you’re 100% right about everything you said.
It is a beautiful film, great soundtrack, fantastic cast, the last bit is a bit of a weak spot but overall, a joy
