This entire thing is worth reading but my grand unified theory of Dem messaging incompetence is this: Dem consultants believe the public is not aligned with their actual values and therefore only the most carefully controlled and scripted messages will win. It is a politics of fear.

absolutely. dem politicians are coached by consultants to be afraid of saying the wrong thing. as a result, dems spout coordinated, focus group tested blather that has lost all authenticity.
Idk, working in major corporate environment I'm not sure what's worse, that or that but then throw it all out for the whims of whomever is highest on the corporate ladder that voices an opinion.

The right, by contrast, is not afraid to go off script, or not to have a script at all. That allows them to find things that capture the imaginations of their audiences and allows creators to do what they want to do and see what strikes gold. That idea terrifies Dems because we're control freaks.
Sorry, but I must posit that there are dems who take the same money from the same entities that the repubs are taking. They are all in the same club. Peace
