After our last adopted Shih Tzu Bailey died age 17 in 2020, my Mom was heartbroken at his loss & thinking he was her last dog. She pined for another. In '23, we adopted 8-yr-old Shih Tzu mix Teddy from our SPCA. He gave her joy the rest of her life. He's my sweetie & huge comfort. Right decision. 💕
