I will agree with you that Democrats are not perfect and I believe more could have been done to prevent what is happening today; however, Republicans today only care about money and power, not people.

I'm sure there are some Democrats aswell, it just seems weird to see so many Americans talk like all thats wrong in their Country is the doing of Reps, like Dems have done no wrong or when Dems are in Gov its all equality & love.
