Ugh, We have to wait til 6:30 to see the parade, then wait around with two cranky kids til 9 or 9:30 for the fireworks? Then find my way back via the communist metro to the hotel we booked in Silver Springs? Screw that!

We went to the local No Kings protest at noon, we had fully protested by 1:30, picked up smoothies on the walk back home, it was a lovely day.
