It's not totally meaningless. It shows that Pete is electable. So many people argue that he has no chance, but we now have evidence that he polls better than other Democrats.
What is useless and meaningless is the head-to-head comparison with JD Vance. Both parties will look very different in '28.
I'd say what it shows is that Pete's "gay debuff" (as someone put it) isn't a deal breaker.
I'm a Barnstormer, so you don't have to convince me. But we won't really know until people actually vote, and even then, it depends on which groups turn out strongest to vote. We have no way of knowing what shape the country will be in when '28 rolls around.
Of course. I just think these polls now (and the one of him being 2nd with Black voters) are important to prevent The Narratives from solidifying.
