TBH the study really shows academia is too solicitous of conservative propaganda. The liberal views are beliefs / opinions; the conservative "belief" of "widespread voter fraud" is objectively false, yet 47.6% of academics would permit that delusion / lie to be taught to undergraduates.

The actual battle is over open inquiry, diverse viewpoints, safe campuses. The anti Israel protests created unsafe, sometimes dangerous, campuses for Jews, a reality that wouldn't be tolerated for any other minority. Trump wants to stifle speech , period. He is using previous chaos as pretext.
Academia needs to dust off its history books and read about Neville Chamberlain.

Students at colleges protested and lobbied to not have hate speech on their campuses (Milo, et al). But opposing hate speech somehow became suppression of free speech. Intellectually dishonesty in the name of preserving racism.
