I don't see wealth as bad or a problem, only extreme wealth. In fact, I think everyone should have wealth! And wealth should be carefully defined to include good health and the freedom and resources to choose how one spends the days of their life.

Exploitive wealth is the problem
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. As long as one does not intentionally cause harm to others.
I would say as long as it does not *foreseeably* cause harm to others. You can't yell "fire" in a crowded theatre and then defend yourself with, "I didn't intend for anyone to get trampled trying to escape."
Thank you. Hopefully trying to be, do the best possible given the information we have at the time. "Foreseeing" is a gift.
ICE should turn its attention to White House and get rid of the infestation that is causing most of the US problems.
The Bible so often quoted lately says rich people are unlikely to go to heaven. I hope they enjoy their stolen wealth while on this earth.
Wealth is inherently the problem by definition: Having more than someone else. Capitalism is a false doctrine based on an impossible premise. Perpetual growth is impossible in a closed system.
Perpetual growth is the business plan of cancer (disease, not astrological sign).
I've often heard of people who have a wealth of knowledge, a wealth of humanity, a wealth of common sense, a wealth of good humor. There's so much more to wealth but we're taught to worship the Dollar at all costs
Please Ck out Buckminster Fuller’s quote about wealth. Pretty much sums what you are saying up.
It’s apparently un-American to suggest that having more money than you could spend in 10 lifetimes is a problem. The problem is all these desperate, homeless, hungry people making a mess everywhere. 🤷🏻♂️🚩🚩🚩
I hope sales sucked
It also depends on how you obtain your wealth. If you get it at the expense of others by stealing their labor by not paying fair for work completed or thru fraud or stealing then that is not acceptable.
I don’t see extreme wealth a problem either…if you work hard then great. The problem is when that extreme wealth is used expressly for vanity and ego in lieu of the betterment of humankind.
Let’s put it in perspective. Someone with $100M could spend about $5500/day for 50 years before running out of money. And this assumes no appreciation on the $100M. That certainly seems like enough for any one person.
That is too much for ANY PERSON.
Yes
Then we have to rethink our priorities. We exalt financial wealth in this country. The Kardashians, for example. We will need to improve our principles before lasting change will take hold.
Yes. Lets create a new story of who and what is virtuous and heroic! We can do it and I think we must try.
I'm starting with Ketanji Brown Jackson. I am enthralled with her logic. I feel smarter every time I read her work. She is brave to take a stand, for all of us, and for a better future for the Court. We need leaders who don't sugar coat things
Well being, and the right as a human to not suffer in order that another gains power and privilege.
