I think the press is totally slanting this, following a script that promotes Farage and Reform. Why honestly reflect on these elections when you can make stuff up as you go along, apathy and inconsistent voting in council elections doesn't make for sensational journalism.

If that's the case, then progressive groups need to organize phone/text/email campaigns to said media outlets. Tell the press you'll boycott news programmes' advertisers. If there's one thing to learn from the U.S. shitshow, it's that pressure campaigns work.

I agree with you and while I do protest to media outlets as well as press the government, I admit it is a failing as I'm aware of many of us doing it individually, it would have more impact as a larger group. Tristan Snell, a lawyer in the US did something similar there but after the election
