Lord, I hope so. I do think they *really* fucked themselves with this, my entire thesis is that this was an unrecoverable unforced error on their part, and I mean, I wanna be right, which means I have to resist motivated reasoning, but I also think I'm right, enough to be hopeful

As someone else has already pointed out, it's "SA vs. SS Part Deux" all over again. I also hope you are correct, J.C., and you make a strong case for it. There will unfortunately be a period of troubles no matter what, but perhaps the next crop of weeds has been pulled early before they take root.
