It feels pretty rude to get COVID in 2025. It feels even ruder to get COVID while you're at a conference so you have to spend the weekend in a hotel room.

Feel better! We missed you at trivia!
Pretty rough timing. Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery and feeling 100% before you have to go home to family.
My daughter had it last week. Florida.
Are you ok?
Yeah, symptoms of a head cold, which I thought it was until a family member tested positive.
Hope you & the family member get well soon & don’t have any long-term effects. Thank you to your family member for testing & to you for isolating, even when it means canceling an event.
You know, speaking as a former SHEAR president, hosting a conference during a pandemic—or anything like that—is really really hard. I’ll never forget the complications of that. I hope you feel well soon!
UGH
Boooooooooo
Speedy healing & hope you have no lasting effects!🩷
Good for you for isolating. I know plenty of people who would just attend anyway and infect the whole room. Hopefully you can get lots of rest and feel better soon!
Hope you’re feeling better soon. Covid is not over.
Covid never went anywhere. We are at the beginning of the 11th large wave of this virus. People are still dying and getting Long COVID. There is no immunity to this virus.
That is what happens when you let your guard down and believe the eugenicists. Wear an N95 or KN95 to protect others. Insist on a Paxlovid prescription and get well soon.
