We are all complicit. Democrats, Republicans-ALL of us. We knew he was coming back 4 years ago, we did nothing to prevent this abomination.

I’m not complicit. No way. I have marched, called reps, voted, and talked to people.
I am not complicit. I did everything I could to prevent him from coming back.
I'm sorry-no. We have been allowing the structure for trump to exist to be set up since reagan. All of us.
<> Speak for yourself. If you had enough power and influence to stop the rise of the right wing media machine, then yes you should have done more to stop it. There was nothing more *I* could do to stop them than what I did do.
I am speaking for myself. WE are the people, we are all responsible for the actions of our government. If you're satisfied with your actions-that has to be sufficient, for you. WE need to own this, and strive to be better than THIS.
Some of us are better than this. Some are not. Sadly, millions of folks are not. Millions of folks love this regime and feel comforted by this authoritarianism and make money off of this chaos. They are not "better than this". If they were better than this, we wouldn't have this.
And it’s not AG Garland’s fault. The 1/6 prosecutions were the biggest in the county’s history. You start at the bottom and work up. Do any of you critics have any actual experience in this field, or just sitting in the cheap seats judging? Jack Smith was a Hague prosecutor. Garland appointment.
Wrong and trying to peddle this narrative is wrong we are the only country in history who allowed a violent coup to go unpunished - the ? Is why?
The USSC slow walked prosecution so he couldn’t be prosecuted as POTUS. It’s not even a law. See Rachel Maddow’s work on how the DOJ arrived at the policy of not prosecuting a sitting POTUS after Agnew/Nixon. He’s POTUS to stay out of jail. He just wants to golf. He’s the front man for 2025.
unpunished so far
I don’t know about that. South Korea went straight for the problem. Brazil too. When you are up against a possible 4 year timeline, you go for the root cause of the problem. There are no longer norms or institutions. Garland is a big reason for that.
Nope
I sympathize with the desire to cut a great road through the law to get to the devil. Old fogies & their due process move too slowly to satisfy the burning anger folks feel. Rcons don't play by the rules when they are in power, so why should Dems be the rule of law party? youtu.be/PDBiLT3LASk?...
Did you mean to apply to me or to someone else?
Def not you. The stream of Garland haters. 💔
My government, ALL of the people I voted for, were opposed to the "Reagan Revolution" & its toxic offshoots. I can't help it if folks elsewhere refuse to watch fact-based news, choose to soak up toxic propaganda like a thirsty towel, & make poor voting decisions as a result. I am not complicit.
