For months now we have boycott Ted buying anything American. We will not go to the US. We cancelled a trip to California and instead went to the UK, on the way back spent a week in Quebec and in Ontario.

We need both. To be honest, the larger threat is still 🇨🇳 & 🇷🇺 dragging us into a war in Taiwan or Korea. The 🇸🇪 jets are made with 🇺🇸 engines so there is no deal until new engines can be procured & that will be a decade min. We need Grippens to replace our defensive F-18’s but F-35’s to go abroad.

And i hate to say it, because i love NDP provincially in Manitoba, but they aren’t ready to run federally. They want more nurses which is great, but we need a wealthy economy protected by a military first to spend our money on our goals safely and securely in peace.

Everyone likes to point out the spending % but 🇨🇦’s & 🇵🇱’s GDP is not comparable & our needs are much different. So complaining about 🇨🇦 is unfair IMO. 2% of Canada’s GDP ≈ $42.4 billion 5% of Poland’s GDP ≈ $44.5 billion 🇨🇦 is going to 5% so STFU world. You will see our ships everywhere soon.

We don't send money to a hostile country that wants to destroy our economy in order to annex us. I'm no expert in negotiations, but buying defense equipment ($B) from the US would seem really strange to me. Canada has allies all over the world. It doesn't need the US
