It's gonna be tricky. I doubt they will assemble the Chris Pine-crew again. So another reboot? There is so much TV-Trek right now, what's the setting for a movie that would set it apart?

Before the new regime, many projects were in development, including Kelvin 4 and a prequel.

A prequel would be superflous in my opinion. The Kelvin-movies were basically already prequels and STRANGE NEW WORLDS is more or less a prequel show as well. As for a fourth Kelvin-movie: I guess it depends on whether they can get that cast together again - that might be difficult.
