I'm starting to suspect something though 🤔... Why so many Rep lawmakers suddenly bowing out may not be an "it's working" sign, but perhaps they know something Dems don't? Like, perhaps, they won't see a need for ANY branches of gov since there will be NO Constitution to uphold. No laws. No freedom.

Don't ascribe to conspiracy that which can be explained by rationality. And the simple explanation here is that they are the party in power, they are very unpopular, and - as with nearly every previous midterm election for a party in power - they are expecting to get whacked at the ballot box.

This is a world war issue. Not conspiracy. Sorry.

Respectfully, your post surmised that a thing that happens every midterm election cycle - the retirement of politicians who belong to the unpopular party in power - is attributable to a plan to abolish the Constitution as opposed to the natural trend we see every 4 years.

Again, they are absolutely trying to pull shit to game the elections in their favor. And it'll worsen as they get more desperate. But dabbling in theories only begets pessimism/hopelessness, which are surefire ways of us losing...and which is precisely what they want. Let's give 'em hell instead!

That's not to say that they aren't going to try to pull some shit. They will. That's what the gerrymandering is about. That's what the intimidation is about. If they weren't planning on having elections they wouldn't be doing those things.

Luckily, Senate races aren't affected by gerrymandering...

But by diving into the despair of conspiracies, we end up giving them what they want: Hopeless doom that tells us it's not worth even putting up a fight. Don't give them that satisfaction. Give them the 🖕 instead and work like hell to fight back without giving them an inch.

I don't think poorly of you at all! I just disagree on your original theory. I see many responses like that, and I feel very strongly that we need to avoid falling into that thinking. Just my own personal opinion.

...and disastrous the big tech and big pharma is on the future of humanity and how this is playing into the drama that is unfolding that we call politics. Our side, their side, laws, history, ....we are shifting into a non autonomous existence and I refuse. I am a sovereign, autonomous being.

I fight every day. I give the finger every day. They do not have my fear or my feelings under their control. I'm at the protests and I'm fighting alongside the oppressed. I'm not delusional or easily mind manipulated either. I am educated and know critical thinking skills. I also understand....
