Taking E can help your skin become softer and bring out more feminine features as your body fat redistributes. Results vary though! Remember, being a woman is not a rule book you have to follow. Trust me, there are countless Cis women who adore you, think you are a goddess! Because, YOU ARE!!
So don’t believe that Trans Women and Cis Women are different genders. Both are 100% women! I know hearing or saying trans before Man or Woman can feel like you’re somehow not a “real” one, that’s just our society still in its infancy and needing to put labels on things because were babies still…
Also, I almost forgot, what you got going on downstairs.. That’s on you how you wish to handle it. If you are happy with your loadout, that changes nothing about your validity as a Woman or Man. But if you take E, you may have heard “use it or lose it”. Lemme explain.
Taking E can sometimes increase or massively decrease your sex drive. If you’re on T blockers, which depending on your situation isn’t always a requirement when taking E. You can lose functionality down there when not using it and it can actually be painful to “use”. So just remember that sis! Also
Because it’s second puberty, if you are one of those ladies who feel a level of emotional numbness, lacking in areas that E can help with. It will potentially hit you either immediately or as late as a year into taking it. So give it time and potentially get your dosage adjusted, this your journey!
As for me I thankfully have a naturally pretty feminine physique overall, from my facial structure down to my hands and feet are naturally pretty fem on their own. I’m already VERY in touch with my emotions, positively! So my transition is more about removing my pesky facial body hair PERMANENTLY
Because I am so sick of shaving with a razor like twice a day for my legs and breast area to keep it smooth and my face like 3-4 times with a razor/electric razor because that scruff causes me MASSIVE dysphoria to feel/see on myself even years into being openly trans.
My voice is also kinda annoying to me personally, I need to get better at voice training, I still like doing goofy masc character voices for DM’ing in DnD groups playing different NPC characters, but as my day to day voice for myself that resonates with me as a woman. I need to keep training!
That said, my priorities to feel like myself don’t make me feel like I personally need HRT. I may down the road get on a low dosage of E for a little extra boost in some areas if I feel like it can help. Clothes also help a ton, shop online, return what doesn’t fit til you’re comfortable in stores!
But that’s just part of my journey which I hope maybe helps you realize some of things that maybe matter more than others if you’re hesitant about certain aspects of transitioning. Just remember, whatever name you choose, clothes you wear, what you shave or don’t, E or T or neither. You. Are. Real.
