Folks sheltering farm animals in these little private menageries, to keep them healthy + alive? They deserve medals. We anthropomorphize our pets. These vids from shelter farms, humanize the animals. Farm critters bonding + having fun instead of getting butchered + exploited is very nice to see.
It’s the chickens that like to cuddle, the pig showing off smarts, the cow/steer chasing a ball & liking its belly rubbed like a dog, the sheep/goats just enjoying themselves in the sun, the ducks/geese following their human around, and the turkey who tried to hug a human (1/2)
…has put me off on consuming animal meat altogether. It’s like dogs/cats being consumed in certain geographical regions of the world - it turns my stomach & makes me shudder.
My kid's a Vegan. I've had some bad experiences with them, the aggression, the horror photos. I think they very militantly hijacked and undermined the Cowspiracy effort. I've been wrong before. But yes, the vids I've seen here really softened me up.
PETA is the worst of those militant organizations; and yes, I agree. Their approach is akin to the pro-life/anti-abortionists😒👎🏻
