I'm a big fan of anything Bauhinia. But I've never bumped into this one. Hard to find info (other than it seems it's now Phanera japonica). Where did you get this, how long have you had it, and has it bloomed for you?

I got seed from Makino Botanical Garden when I was curator at Huntsville Botanical Garden. They (hopefully still) have an annual seed exchange. I left it labeled and growing under large old pines there.
