They get a nail trim (we have a USB rotary), some treats, and then a bath immediately after.

We generally do it at home every other Friday. I did it for the first year but my wife has mostly taken it over now and discovered they really like having the blanket. After a week or two their skin gets oily and it tends to rub.off on blankets and curtains if you don't bathe them.
