I don’t. She is obviously jealous of the attention that Lovat gives her, so just let her go then. But she would rather be cruel.

I feel she is a woman during a time when women had nothing so she is protecting what little she has because of Lovat. I get that and can even empathize her plight. But to be cruel to the only other woman in the house who could be your friend and ally is what makes me not like her.
