There are two subsets of 'lefties' who hate expertise, the anti-vax flakes, and the progressive NIMBYs, who refuse to believe lack of supply (a.k.a. in their neighbourhood) is a cause of homelessness and excessive housing prices.

The thing is, I don't think left anti-intellectualism is generally as overt as with the right-wing in this country. The NIMBY's won't go ahead and say they reject science proudly, they just ignore it and explain it away.
