Hey nerds what video game do I want to get if I want the video game to basically be blade runner
Hey nerds what video game do I want to get if I want the video game to basically be blade runner
Sounds like Cyberpunk 2077? Idk haven’t played it but it’s the same genre
More for the vibes, but Syndicate, Tokyo 42, Cloudpunk
Oh, and the city-builder Dystopika
Stray, maybe?
That game was sick back in the day. Wonder if it holds up
Just not Starfield
Is that short for starring Garfield
Yup
Shadowrun, Deus Ex, Beyond a Steel Sky, Gamedec. Though I'd concur that the 1997 Blade Runner PC game is the best if you want Blade Runner.
Oh yeah. Deus Ex is pretty solid in there.
citizen sleeper imo
Deus X
Boy is this a memory.
A true Kojima masterpiece
Oh my god Were there legal consequences
Here’s the gist. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snatche...
Kojima just seems like a really special guy
Unhinged and Unchallenged.
Nope, in fact Kojima would then go on to make Lethal Weapon in Space next. And of course all those definitely-not-just-Snake-Plissken-we-promise games he's most famous for.
You can make Animal Crossing as dark as you like.
Observer, Transistor, or Fear Effect
Observer is an excellent pull for various reasons
Never heard of these thank you
This is Citizen Sleeper
Do you like pointing and/or clicking? Allow me to recommend a couple of story heavy adventure games that fit the bill: Technobabylon (currently $4.50) store.steampowered.com/app/307580/T... and Whispers of a Machine (currently $3) store.steampowered.com/app/631570/W....
I have been previously told Disco Elysium and Cyberpunk but these seem like wildly different answers
Cyberpunk 2077 is hands downnthe answer its not even close. If you wanna feel like your in a world like Blade runner, its Cyberpunk 2077 hands down. Amazing game too! Enjoy.
I think it depends a little on what you want to take from blade runner. The dark, soul crushing bleakness is disco elysium (it’s deep but weird too). The sci fi cybernetics and blurred vision of self is cyberpunk. I think cyberpunk wins, honestly. But you should play both.
Disco Elysium is a masterpiece that everyone should absolutely play. Cyberpunk is more Blade Runner, though so probably what you’re looking for.
I can see both, but for very different reasons. Technically, there's the Blade Runner game, but that's point-and-click.
The people posting the actual blade runner game have sarcastic vibes so I’m inferring it’s a bad move
It's legitimately good, but not enough people played it because it dropped toward the end of the point-and-click adventure heyday and it got stuck in licensing hell for a while until GOG got it sorted
I liked it a lot when I played it. But I'm also a major point-and-click fanboy, and its got some quirks even within its genre. It is on steep discount right now though, so there's no better time to try it. www.gog.com/en/game/blad...
This is so many options thank you 🕹️ 🤖
i’m late but as someone playing Cyberpunk 2077 right now the answer is Disco Elysium
DE if you want the thinking, Cyberpunk if you want the setting
good answer
I wanted cyberpunk to be great but hooboy. I haven't been back to it in like 6 months.
I got it last year and played it unpatched on modern hardware to experience the bugginess, then went back for Phantom Liberty
I got it with PL already included or bought at the same time whatever, and I feel like I'm somehow 80% through the game but somehow my character is only 20% of what it should be. Not to mention they lock off the hair I want!
nooooo I got a glitch that kept undressing V and kept getting caught off guard whenever they showed V with an enormous flopping dick lmao
It's a shame that the Saints Row (RIP) boss maker had better character creation ability than cyberpunk
omg it was truly amazing
Toadting my lonely waffle 😔 I was never able to hijack a Panteras motorcycle cause their spawn chance after clearing the Panteras area was so rare. It's the only thing I havent done 😭
cyberpunk is the answer imo
Axiom Verge
This sounds cool thank you
No problem, it’s got a good sequel if you like it

There is an actual Blade Runner video game
What aspect? The romance part you might enjoy Date Everything.
I just found out about this and it’s a big thanks but no thanks from ol Daniel Kibblesmith
The later Blade Runner books obsessed a bit more over Deckard running away with the Rachel replicant so I thought maybe anthropomorphic dating sim might be the itch to scratch.
All I know is that you can flirt with the toilet and I can make it to the grave without learning to do that
The alters?
But only if you want to be a replicant
Yeah maybe!
