When I was a kid my library had spinner racks of sci-fi paperbacks and I devoured them like I was starving. Did I choose the books by their cover? Absolutely! They were 70’s and 80’s sci-fi books. The covers were AMAZING.

I'm pretty strict about only borrowing books from the library and not buying any. I imagine a bookshelf full of unread books I've bought would be an constant reminder that I told myself something and not follow through on it.
